Nick Diaz talks trash about GSP... what a loser

After recently releasing a taped tirade regarding his removal from the UFC 137 main event against Georges St. Pierre, Diaz has spoken up again, this time blasting the popular 170-pound champion and adding that his absence at a required press conference was simply a misunderstanding.

“I wasn’t going to say anything in the build-up to fighting Georges,” the proud representative of Stockton stated to MMAJunkie. “I was going to be really respectful. Georges is a great fighter. But he’s a little bitch when it comes to fighting me right now. Why is he just going along with everything? To say I don’t have the commitment? I don’t understand. He’s the one that doesn’t have the commitment.
“I really don’t appreciate this motherf—– sitting there at that press conference and laughing at me. That’s some real bitch sh-t. He’s sitting there laughing like it’s funny or something,” the former Strikeforce title-holder continued before upping the stakes again. “If I saw Georges on the street and called him a bitch, I bet you he wouldn’t do sh-t. I bet you if I walked up and gave him a slap, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t do sh-t. But you can’t do that to me. That’s not how it works for me. That’s something to fight about.”
“The bottom line is Georges is being a little bitch,” Diaz concluded later in the conversation. “He didn’t step up and say anything when the UFC pulled me out of this fight. I understand sometimes you have to do what your told, but why wouldn’t you tell the media you still want to fight me? If I was Georges, I would want to fight the best. I would have asked for the Anderson Silva fight. I would have asked to fight the Strikeforce champ. But he sits there like a robot and doesn’t say anything at all, just like he’s not going to say anything about me calling him a bitch now. If I saw BJ Penn walking down the street and called him a bitch, we would be fighting right there on the spot.”
In between GSP-shredding sessions Diaz also gave his side on the fateful press conference he missed, explaining, “”I didn’t know there was a press conference. I thought I was going to do some sort of PR video shoot. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing, and they say I wasn’t able to deal with it all. I guess I wasn’t. I was too busy training to whip St-Pierre’s ass, which I thought was more important.”

A fighter trains to be a fighter or is he born a fighter?

This is a question I've been asking to myself a lot lately. In my experience there are people who are naturally good at fighting, but I've also seen people who sucked at fighting but after a lot of hard training they became the best around. So what does it take to be the best?, heart?, luck?.
When I started training MMA I was pretty good at it, even better than the advanced class guys, however I started with boxing and BJJ a few years back. But it was small-time training and I never sparred at boxing. Yet I was pretty good at MMA fighting, I guess I was naturally good at it, however as years went by and I kept training I got even better at it, actually to be fair I got about 300% better, If I fought myself a few years back with the same strength, height and weight I would kick the living crap out of my past-me. This makes me think, that even though I was already good at fighting with training I became better, and also I've met people who before training sucked at fighting and after a few years of training they where on the top-list.
So what do you think? is it natural? is it training? or perhaps things like heart, motivation, luck, etc. ?

Up-coming UFC 135 Jones vs. Rampage

on 9/24/2011 UFC's current Light Heavyweight Champion Jon "Bones" Jones will enter the octagon with former champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
Rampage Jackson who after defeating Matt Hammill in the past UFC 130 earned his title shot against the youngest champion in the UFC's history.
My money on this one relies on "Bones" corner, this guy has the longest reach in the game, he has proved that his his stand-up game is one of the best around,  a good ground-game make for a great overall fighter. Plus I've seen "Bones" pull some crazy shit inside the octagon, i.e that superman elbow, or that suplex he once pulled off. Sure Rampage has got the hardest hit in the game, but it's been a while since he has connected one of those.
If you're pulling bets they better be on Jon Bones Jones Side
